THE MIRACULOUS ACCIDENT PART II

Rahkell's Destiny would be Revealed!

The Police Officers cornered Buggie, cuffed him and put him in the back of a patrol car.  Mr. Random got assistance from the corner deli owner who begged him to stay away from the store as he took a hose to clean all the throw up.  Meanwhile, Rahkell was being put on a stretcher, she suffered neck & back injuries and was loosing a lot of blood from her stab wounds.  The paramedics placed her in the ambulance while trying their best to stop the bleeding from her stomach and leg areas.   

Rahkell was in critical condition.  When she arrived at the hospital they immediately began prepping her for emergency surgery.  While the doctors were working on cleaning her wounds and started stitching, Rahkell coded and it was at this point that Rahkell began feeling a warm, loving glow and presence around her.  She saw an array of colors, beaming hues reminiscent of a Rainbow.  She looked to her right and saw Seven Angels their wings slowly flapping.  Then the Angels began to move about the operating room 4 of the Angels stood by each corner of the room as thee other 3 Angels approached the operating table.

Rahkell in complete awe felt her Spirit separate from her body.  She was just about to address the Angels when One spoke.  "Fear not, Rahkell you have not died you're approaching a new beginning in your Life" The Angel continued  "My name is Abyssinia we are all your Guardian Angels, we are part of the Heavenly Army.  We receive our orders from the One whose eyes are like flames of fire, upon his head are many crowns, the One who has a name written, that no man knows but Him." The 2nd Angel spoke "He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!" and as the 2nd Angel proclaimed all the other Angels said "He is Faithful and True!"

Rahkell looked at herself and said "why is my body there and I here?"  The Angel Abyssinia looked deep into Rahkell's eyes and said "The adversary has tried countless times to sift you, right now as we speak he thinks he has the upper hand, here let me show you" Abyssinia grabbed Rahkell's hand then pointed to the four corners of the operating room, behind each one of the Angels were several hideous beings trying to make their way over the heads of the Angels.  "You will be in a coma, but just for a short while, during that time we will introduce you to your guides as your body heals, the Great Physician will equip you with all the necessary tools that you will need to fight the war."  "What war?"  Rahkell asked.  All 7 Angels answered "The war between Good and Evil."

Rahkell stared at each Angel, "Why me?"  Abyssinia answered "You're not the only one fighting Rahkell, in your life you will meet the others, you are all a part of an Elite Team, you were given certain gifts, you will master them and do great things!"   "Now your Spirit must go back into your Physical being."  Abyssinia touched Rahkell and as Rahkell felt her Spirit effortlessly and lightly go back in her body she can feel her Physical mending with her Spirit as her Soul hovered over the transition.  Before her Mind, Body, Soul & Spirit were all one  the Angels moved towards the operating table and touched Rahkell and gave their names the 2nd Angel said smiling "I'm Nile", with each Angel passing and giving their names Rahkell's Spirit went further into her being.  

The 3rd Angel touched her head and said "I am Israh-el."  The 4th Angel touched her hands and said "I am Egypt."  The 5th Angel touched her heart and said  "I am Crystal."  The 6th Angel touched her waist and said "I'm  Precious." and the 7th Angel touched her feet and said "I am Sapphire."  Then all the Angels began to raise themselves as their wings began to softly flap she could see the hideous beings but the brightness of the Angels kept them at bay.  Then Abyssinia said "you have a new name too - it's DJ." 

The Angels wings began to sound like rushing winds, then Rahkell heard the crackling of lightening and thunder.  With each clap of thunder, Rahkell was getting zapped with volts of electronic frequency to get her heart back to beating.

"Clear, Clear!" the OR Doctor shouted.  As the OR team looked at the monitor they noticed it went from a flat line to a beeping one.

THE MIRACULOUS ACCIDENT PART I

Rahkell was injured but that accident shifted her Destiny

It's summer time and the streets are always hot.  Rahkell always noticed how the mood would change in the streets when school was out, summer vacation began and mischief was in the air.  Women and men wore less clothes, after all it's hot.  Block parties, barbeques, summer loves & summer break ups.

Rahkell was always into her own world, she had her crushes and she also had common sense.  Never moving on anyone's pace, she moved to her own beat.  It kept her out of trouble but from time to time she would get lonely - there was always an interest available to occupy her time if need be.  

It was after 4PM and Rahkell decided to go for a walk near the broadwalk.  After observing the families playing beach ball, running into the ocean, sun bathing, laughing and enjoying the summer day she decided to continue her walk towards the train station and go visit her sister who lived in another county.

As she headed towards the train station, she caught the eye of a random guy on the corner who was busy making passes at everyone that went by him.  Unless Rahkell crossed the street to avoid him there was no escaping whatever it was that he would say as she crossed his path.

Now Rahkell always walked with her walkman, her headphones were on as she was critiquing yet another mix tape she created over the weekend.  She was pressing rewind as she listened to how she brought in Tiger's tune, Ram Dance Hall from JC Lodge's Sorry.  As she pressed play the random guy decided to say something to Rahkell.  "What's going on shorty?"  he asked as the wave of I've been smoking and drinking offensively crashed into Rahkell's face.  "A tic-tac!"  Rahkell exclaimed, "you need not one put 'em all in ya mouth."  As sassy Rahkell replied to Mr. Random's question she quickly turned and took a few steps backwards and inadvertently stepped on someone's sneaker.  She immediately said sorry but that person pushed Rahkell causing her to fall to the ground.  Mr. Random knew the person who pushed Rahkell and took advantage of the situation.  "Yo Buggie hold that bitch she just dissed me!"  he yelled as he staggered over to Rahkell.  As Rahkell was making her way back up Buggie tried to grab hold of Rahkell both Buggie & Mr. Random were now directly in front of Rahkell.

As Buggie went for Rahkell's arms, Rahkell swiftly moved pushed Buggie & went into a stance with both her hands up ready to defend herself as she realized these guys were about to jump her.  Mr. Random as drunk as he was took a swing at Rahkell, he missed.  As Rahkell dodged it by moving back she came up with a right hook that easily made contact with Mr. Random's jaw.  It looked like slow motion for Rahkell as she watched Mr. Random spin heading for the concrete and throwing up all over Buggie's sneakers.   Buggie exploded into a fierce rage as he looked at Rahkell, he pulled out a blade and Rahkell started to run heading towards the train station.

The train stations in that area are above ground with never ending steps to get to the top of the platform.  Buggie was only a few steps behind Rahkell "gon get yo ass!" he shouted.  Rahkell kept running she didn't have any weapons on her and wasn't trying to get stabbed.  As she approached the never ending steps she got mid way where she felt a tug on her jeans & noticed Buggie's blade near the heal of her sneakers she got cut.  Buggie's blade was a box cutter.  

When Rahkell noticed the blood pouring from her leg she stopped and as Buggie was now in front of Rahkell he called her a bitch "Ya Mutha" Rahkell said defiantly.  As she was loosing blood rapidly and commuters were heading towards the train station minding their own business.  The next train heading out of Rockaway began to signal.  One commuter decided to look for a cop on the platform as she noticed something was awry.  Rahkell knuckled up to punch Buggie as soon as he noticed an officer making his way down the stairwell,  Buggie stabbed Rahkell in her stomach, grabbed her walkman and pushed her over the stairwell.  Rahkell fell almost 20 feet down landing on her back.

The officer was on the move for Buggie he started to give a description over his radio "suspect is a Black Male, 6'2" wearing a white t shirt, black jeans, white sneakers heading southbound on Mott Avenue."

The paramedics were called as the sirens wailed and a crowd began to form around Rahkell's body.

WICKED IN BED & AN UNFORGETTABLE PARTY!

Well it was nearing Rahkell's 16th Birthday and she already knew that her guardians had no intentions of doing anything for her.  Rahkell decided to throw her own Sweet Sixteen Birthday extravaganza.

She got a special cake made invited all her friends and simply told her guardians that she will be gone for the weekend and will be back by curfew on Sunday.  The party Rahkell threw till this day has gone down in history as one of the best house party's in the neighborhood.  Everyone was there and that basement was packed with kids dancing the night away.

At the time one of Rahkell's favorite songs "Wicked Inna Bed" by Shabba Ranks began to play.  Rahkell immediately ran down the stairs and immersed herself into the bass line and lyrics to the song.  Her wining skills were definitely eye catching.  Eventually one of her male friends pulled her closer to the wall of which he stood and they pretty much danced all night long.

Rahkell's 16th birthday party was a success and on Sunday she came back home by curfew and politely retired to her bedroom.  The following day Rahkell decided that it was time for her to change things around in her personal life and to break things off with her current boyfriend David.  She knew her guardians would not approve of him if they were to stay together.  She also understood that his lifestyle and profession can easily put her in danger.

David did not take the break up lightly and they spent hours on the phone.  David trying to convince her that she's making a mistake and Rahkell trying to convince David that it's the best thing for both of them.  Now Rahkell was not in love with David and they were only seeing each other for a short period of time.  She understood that their relationship can turn into something more serious.  Where it would lead to more than just kissing each other on the corner.  Rahkell was not ready for anything serious and decided to focus more on the young lad she danced with at her 16th birthday party.  She was ready to move on.

So Rahkell and David were no longer together and her guardians never had the chance to meet the person she spent hours on the phone with.  They never had the opportunity to give the third degree to whom she was dating and in getting their stamp of approval.  Rahkell knew she would never get their "A OK" .  David was so much older than Rahkell she would have never heard the end of it and certainly would have been grounded for her poor choices in men.  

Going into the Spring and finishing up the 11th grade Rahkell was in for a rude awakening on the last day of school...

THE INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Entertainment Reading by Simply Said

This story takes place on the East Coast.  It documents the life, times and battles of a young warrior out of the tribe of Asher.  It is our intent to provide you with entertaining and innovative content.  DJ's War is lightly based on a true story, happy reading from all of us at Simply Said Media.

Well it was 1988 and Rahkell was walking home from school.  Just getting off the A train with a walkmen in her ears, she was listening to a mix-tape she created and was bumping Lady G after Lady G Reverend Badoo was next "send dem a shirt wit some buttons, send dem somem yuh hafi send dem som em."  Yeah those were the days.

Rahkell thought that she was going to meet her new boyfriend in front of her house, but as winter was showing it's face still in Autumn, Rahkell just stared at the leaves on the ground, felt the brisk wind tickle her ears and frost kiss her cheeks.  She knew there was no way she was going to wait outside for him in the cold.  Rahkell turned to the west of her to see what divine design was in store for the sunset that evening.  She paced in front of the house trying to keep warm, still thinking about her boyfriend.  She took the hoodie of her coat and swiftly put it over her head as a breeze from the Far Rockaway sound took full sweep of the streets.  As soon as the winds began to pierce at her eyes here comes David.  "Ahhhh give me some sugar!" he exclaimed while attempting to bear hug her.  Rahkell was not at all amused she quietly placed her lips on his and softly kissed him.  "Hey"  she said.  David replied "Hey is for horses" and began to smile and laugh at his new Autumn Chic.  

Rahkell met David in the streets while walking home from school.  David was much older than Rahkell at least by 10 years.  Rahkell didn't seem to mind the age gap, she felt that she can still hold an intelligent conversation.  Her relationship with such an older man was forbidden especially with her guardians of whom she lived with.  If they were to know that a 15 year old has started a relationship with a 25 year old grown man - what was Rahkell going to do?

Does she tell her guardians that her new boyfriend is 10 years older than her and works for a REAL special Pharmaceutical company?  Does Rahkell get caught outside or even in the house and her guardians find out that way?  What happens between Rahkell and David?
